Hi, I have tried chalk pens but when I wipe them off they always leave a shadow, is there a way of getting rid of it or do I always need to paint over ?…….by the way love your work.
lol
Thank you my friend. All the best. John
Fantastic stuff, you have very neat writing i like it, love the style, you’d make an excellent graffiti artist
I see you are only offering a “download” now for either of your “DVD’s”, I myself would rather have actual DVD’s. I went to buy Both as Downloads, but it did not say how much $ they are in U.S.of A. Funds?????
So I just did Not order them. Seems you have ALOT more content that sitting here for Free over buying the first Video thats only 35 minutes, what am I missing here?
Thanks, and your work is nice.
Nice work
hmm, seems like a oldschool graffiti writer
Just ordered your dvd John. Looking forward to receiving it. I’ve done a few chalkboards, but i struggle with the consistency of the ink flow on the zig posterman markers. Gonna try the posca pens. Love your work, looks really nice! All the best!

Hi Virginia,
I am so pleased you are finding the videos useful & thanks for your kind comments. Send some pix of your efforts if you like.
All the best
John
Thank you John for your demonstration videos – you have helped me so much as I have to design a coffee board for my aged care facility – too easy for you! I managed to grab a couple of chalkboard pens from local stationery shop so wish me luck! You are a true artist and I’ve always wanted to signwrite but never seemed to get around to it. Somethings take time…..Best wishes to you & your business, Virginia from Australia
Hi Rebecca,
I only use these pens (ocassionally acrylic paint & brush) but the Kuretake pens will work on most surfaces then scrub them off if you cannot paint over.
John
Have you used different chalk pens…what would you reccommend for boards that can’t be painted over?
Hi there is anyone available to do this near Rixton, Warrington?
Hi TITO
See the video ‘Tools of the trade’ Yes the pens are permanent but will it wipe off glass or mirrors or just paint black over boards to do new work.
John
Hi. First just wanted to say I admire your artwork. Second I had a question about the posterman pens. Are they permantent? Where can i get a good deal? I work @ Starbucks and I”m in charge of the chalkboard display. Trying to soak up as much info as I can. Thanks!

Yes, when I need to from softwood frames and MDF board. I prefer to do the artwork but then more boards – more work!
John
Do you make your own chalkboards ?
