First of all, get a hold of an auction place. they will probable take it all. and give you the money for it. but remember it will not be as much as if you sell it your self.
i list mine in the news paper. always set the price a little higher, so you have room to bargain with. people do not want to pay full price for any thing……another good idea is a flea market. a booth can be rented very cheap, or you can sometimes share one. or hold a moving sale…but remember people love yard sales and moving sales….so you have to give a little so price like i told you….if you have had it apraised then you just let people look for the marks for them self.

Take detailed pictures and if possible, a piece of the furniture (such as a drawer) to a few antique shops and see if they can identify it and appraise it. Don’t come off as desperate for cash or you won’t get a fair price. Taking a drawer or similar item will allow the dealer to examine features like primary and secondary woods, hardware, construction, and details like the dovetail joints (hand-cut or machine). The more places you visit, the better understanding you’ll get of an average price range.
