Looking for some vintage-style, shabby chic bedding. ?

I’m looking to redo my room in a vintage-syle, chabby chic look. I’ve looked on Anthropologie.com but they don’t carry full size bedding (which is what I need). I really LOVE the laelia bedding there!!! Do you have any suggestions for similar stores? My price range is about $250 maximum for the comforter.

  2. Urban Outfitters is owned by the same company as Anthropologie and is sort of like its little sister in style. Their bedding has a similar quirkiness to Anthropologie’s but is more youth-oritented and affordable, and it comes in twin and full / queen sizes. They label their queen size as a full / queen, but in my experience it’s a better suited for a full-size bed. My little sister has the “Floating Flowers” full / queen-sized duvet cover on her full-size bed, and it’s the perfect fit. You might want to measure your current comforter / quilt and compare it to the dimensions of the bedding you’re interested in before making a purchase.

Here are a few bedding options at UO that are similar to the Laila quilt:

Shabby Chic sells bedding at their store in LA, but I’m not sure if they have it online as well. They have a more affordable line of bedding at Target. Also check out the Dwell Studio bedding at Target.
Macy’s now carries bedding that was designed by Teen Vogue and I spotted one that has sort of a 60s flower-power look to it that you might like.

Anthropologie has a good return policy, so if you really love the Laela bedding and aren’t too far from the store you might want to just buy it to try it out. Their sizing can vary. I currently have their Glasswing queen-sized duvet cover and my queen bed, and it fits just as it should. I have their Distant Voyage quilt in a queen and it’s considerably smaller. I put it on my full-sized bed at my mom’s house during the winter and it looked great. So, check the measurements and do a bit of experimentation.

    Good luck in your search!
