My grandmother recently passed away. She has a solid oak trunk and a desk (both antique) at my aunt’s house in Florida. These pieces are very special to me emotionally and could never be replaced. However I am a very poor graduate student! How can I best get them here (Tennessee) from there (Florida)?

We do not know the weight of these items but I know they are solid and will weigh a lot.

Waiting is not an option. If I don’t get them now, I may never get them.

Thank you guys!!! :)

I just bought an antique bedroom set. What would be the best product to use to clean and protect the wood. I have some Murphys oil soap, has anyone ever used this product?
